The Impact of Implementing E-Government Requirements on Employee Performance: A Field study on the Azizia Culture and Information Office
Keywords:
E-management, Employee performanceAbstract
This study aims to determine the impact of implementing e-management requirements on the performance of employees at the Culture and Media Center in the Al-Jafara region, and to clarify the effect of these requirements (administrative, technical, and human) on their performance. The study employed a descriptive-analytical approach, and a random sample of 50 employees from the center was selected. A questionnaire was used as the data collection tool; 50 questionnaires were distributed, and 45 were returned. After review and verification, only 40 questionnaires were deemed valid for analysis (approximately 80%), a satisfactory response rate. The SPSS software was used to analyze the data and test the study hypotheses. The study yielded several findings, the most important of which were: employees' awareness of the importance of e-management; a deficiency in practical training and digital communication skills; a positive and significant impact of e-management on performance efficiency, despite some implementation challenges; and weaknesses in ongoing training programs. The study recommended investing in and upgrading the technical infrastructure, designing specialized and continuous training programs, enhancing the use of digital communication tools and integrating them into the work environment, and leveraging employees' awareness of the importance of e-management to contribute to the development process.
