Abstract

The aim of this study was to examine the current state of Libyana mobile phone network communications in the municipality of Traghen in southern Libya. This was achieved through a field study on the quality of the network's communications and its impact on the use of social media applications, as well as highlighting the perspectives of the residents of this municipality across all its areas and all segments of society. A list of their main suggestions for improving this network was also compiled. To achieve this objective, the descriptive-analytical method was used, and the study sample consisted of 50 males and 24 females distributed across all areas of the municipality. The results generally indicated that the level of use of social media applications and internet services in the study areas ranged between weak and average, with noticeable differences between them. This is primarily attributed to the poor quality of communication infrastructure and limited network coverage, which negatively affects the effectiveness of digital services. Based on the research findings, several proposals and recommendations were developed for improving the aforementioned network.
