The present study aimed to identify the effect of a proposed training program on the development of certain technical skills among first-division handball players. It also aimed to examine the impact of the proposed training program on the performance level of handball skills among first-division players. The researcher employed the experimental method using a pre-test and post-test design for two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The study sample consisted of (36) players from Al-Morooj and Al-Nasr clubs, with (18) players in each group. The proposed training program was implemented
over a period of (8) weeks, with (5) training sessions per week. Results: The findings indicated that the proposed training program had a positive effect on the development of certain technical skills. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-measurements of the experimental group in the technical skill variables and skill performance tests, in favor of the post-measurement. Recommendations: The researcher recommends conducting regular assessments of technical skills for players throughout the training season.
